Jumping in on things with this! Please let me know how you feel my interpretation of Nepeta is!

Is she true to canon? Is she not silly enough? Am I using too many cat puns? I'd love to know how you think I'm doing with her, so any feedback would be great!

I think u do a great nep!!! I'm always really impressed by the amount of cat puns. tbh i think she may use even MORE in canon from what i've reread lately. she's p much the exact amount of silly that's right, and her bloodthirsty side has come thru really well in combat. honestly, i think u do her just right!!

:3 Good! I'm glad you think I'm doing a good job with her, I'd considered pulling back on the puns and have tried to limit myself to one or two per sentence, but I could put them back to full blast if more people agree that she uses more than I have been lately.

Snerk. In all seriousness though I think you're the cat's pajamas! You go out of your way to make a more nuanced read of her than quirky sweet cat girl. She was the troll who carried her lusus around and literally hunted the huge Alternian monsters and managed to tacklepounce Equius the muscley giant.

I really enjoy the coffee shop and am currently racking my brain to try and figure out other such places that fef could pioneer that would be as neutral and easily accessible a place for people to naturally congregate. Perhaps a free awuarium? It will take more thought.

She could probably be sillier but given the tone of the rp and the relative age of the characters I think that your approach makes sense, so then I'd call it a personal preference. I, for example, have taken it upon myself to up the random chaos quotient with Hurricane Fef so it's your call.

I would like to see more of her outside of the coffee shop and dreams. What's Nepeta like at home? How many cats is she carrying at any given moment while at home? Important questions that need answers.

Ah, thank you! I've got home life figured out a bit beyond what anyone has been able to see, but once she has friends to invite over, there will be a bit more to show for that.

FYI she has two cats named Pounce and Leon, and generally they are good kitties who just laze around the apartment like fat white lumps, and occasionally knock shit over, or eat leftovers left on the counters because that's what cats do.
